You’ve Arrived! Growing Through Challenges

Raising a child with ADHD

As a parent of a child with ADHD, I know how challenging it can be to help them reach their full potential. ADHD is not something that can be cured with medication or therapy alone; it requires a combination of strategies and interventions to help your child succeed. My son's journey has been long and difficult, but I am proud of the progress he has made and the person he has become. I hope my story will provide insight into the struggles, successes, and strategies of raising children with ADHD.

Hello

Growth over Perfection

I'm a mom of three with one on the way. As if that alone wasn't enough to keep me busy; I'm currently attending college to become a special education teacher but have been working in the field for over 5 years.
I started Growing Through Challenges with the goal of offering readers a glimpse into my thoughts and experiences. The most important part of being my son's parent is being an advocate; ensuring that he has access to the support he needs.
